"Could you plz give me a window seat ?" - everytime I stand before the foolish beauty, this is what I request for - "A window seat". Having flown both national and international airlines for over twenty times, my affair with the skies doesn't seem to come to an end. Boy! What a smile that is which appears on my face everytime I look out of the window at those large chunks of cotton floating at the heights of Mt. Everest in the azure, at the horizon that's no longer visible and at the golden shine off the consolidated vapour.
"Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky !!"
What name do I give to this diamond? Technology? Engineering? or The Human Spirit? An incurable optimist, forgetting all about the petty men I meet every other hour on the soil, my lungs breath and my eyes reflect the fire burning in the Sun. Man broke a frontier, since ever belonging to Gods.

Aviation, space travel in specific, to me is the summary of all human achievement till date. A craft, that bears ten scores of people with all instruments of luxury in it, floats in air with nothing but its wings using some pressure difference in thin gushing wind !!
Life, at that moment, expands to the invisible horizons. And an uncrushable spirit rises again somewhere within, nudging at me and asking - "Can you fly higher than this?"
I know the answer, and it reads - "YES."
"To rust unburnished, not to shine in use!
As tho' to breathe were life."

"Man broke a frontier, since ever belonging to Gods."
U cudn't have put it better mate...
i've flown in a flight for hardly a dozen times but relished every bit of it-to say relished is actually an understatement, its much more than that-don' hav words 2 describe 'em...keep bloggin'-cheers!!
u hav a great ability to write down in words ur thoughts precisely.I have had hard time doing this if the topic is non-scientific. hav u any suggestions or with practice, with time it will come.
this world owes a lot to wright bros. and i think you have paid your part of debt :)
@Subash @Anshul : Thanx bhailog.
@Bhaggu : Not many concrete suggestions I have. But 2 things. First, I generally take a lot of time to write even small pieces and edit it several times before finalizing it. So, give it time. Second, try writing more and more. The words will start flowing. Start writing a diary. I am doing it this year. :). Believe me, its fun.
Masterpiece .. wonderful ..
In this post i shud say urs writing skills has left your content relatively unimportant..
I also went through your last post .. you are equally good in poetry..
and i knw the answer was bound to be "YES" and you are on right way...
@saurabh : Khabru, you are one of the very few who have actually understood that post!!! Yes, almost all others thought it was a post on aviation. But you definitely know better than that ... and such is the understanding we share. Thanx be. You have made my post successful.
